Reither Spitze (2374m) from Seefeld

Technical difficulty: 7/10 (mostly on the last 100 vertical meters to the summit)
Fitness: 4/10
Objective danger: 7/10 (mostly on the last 100 vertical meters to the summit)
Landscape: 7/10
Busy: 9/10 (close to the ski resort)

A very interesting summit and an extra couloir in Reither Kar with exposed skiing on the summit slope.

Starting point: Seefeld ski slope parking lot
Ending point: Seefeld ski slope parking lot
Ascend:
1500vm / 5h
Exposition:
North-west for the interesting parts

Route:

From the base station of the Rosshütte cable cars, follow the slope to the first fork after a few meters. Cross the bridge to the right and ascend more steeply along the slope heading east. Where the slopes merge into the Hermannstal, head south toward the Hochangerbahn mountain station. From there, ascend quite steeply to the Härmelekopf mountain station.

Leave the ski slope and leave for the open terrain towards the summit of Härmelekopf (2224m). From here follow the ridge slightly downhill towards the saddle of Reither Joch. We can see our descent route from here. But before that, we keep following the ridge up towards the summit. The summit slope is really steep and exposed so proceed with caution and only in good conditions. Ascend through the summit slope until reaching the summit cross of Reither Spitze (2374m).

Descend:
Ski the summit slope back to Reither Joch. Beware of the cornices that often form on the north side of the summit ridge. From Reither Joch ski down north-east into the Reither Kar. There are some options for extra couloirs (follow the GPS track for one example).

Ski out of the Reither Kar through a long valley until reaching the ski slope again.
